The Annual Summer Fete was organised by our Activities Department and took place on the 15th August 2017.
Several stalls were set up including: Cakes & Refreshments, Tombola, Bric-a-Brac, Books & DVD’s, Sweets & Treats, The Body Shop, Anne’s Plants and Kim’s Jewellery.
A great time was enjoyed by all and it is with thanks to all stallholders and supporters that £274.60 was raised to be used towards providing activities and comforts for our Residents. Thank you to one and all.
On the 29th September 2017 we hosted a “Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” at our Head Office 81-83 Warwick Road, Solihull, B92 7HP. The Coffee mornings took place up and down the Country and were aimed at raising funds to help people facing cancer.
We held a Cake “Bake Off” – people were invited to bake a cake and submit it to be judged in the competition on the day. This was very well supported by members of our Domiciliary Care Team, Head Office staff and other organisations located in our premises and, as well as receiving donations for coffee and cakes being served, the Competition Cakes were sold off at the end of the morning.
The event was a great success and we would like to extend A BIG THANK YOU to all those that joined us on the day and contributed towards raising the magnificent sum of £185!!! for a very worthwhile cause.
