We want our residents to enjoy the same freedoms and privacy as they would at home.
We’ve designed our accommodation to make life as easy as possible for you, with comfortable furnishings and the latest safety features, our bedrooms offer more than private space they are a personal haven too.
A bedroom is more than a place to sleep. It’s a place to rest and relax, indulge in a hobby or enjoy quality time with family and friends.
All our residents have their own comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated bedrooms with en-suite toilet and shower rooms. Our beds are equipped with an overhead hoisting system, allowing residents with restricted mobility to move around safely and smoothly, a similar system in each bathroom makes getting in and out of the shower safer and easier too.
Our bedrooms also feature:
- Electrically operated, fully adjustable beds
- Satellite TV points
- Internet access
- Nurse-call alarms
- Telephone line with a private number (a small charge applies for this service)
Some of our ground floor rooms also have patio doors opening out on our garden courtyard, so our residents can enjoy the sunny summer days at their leisure.
We know that personal belongings make a house a home – a photograph can evoke cherished memories, while a memento can mean the world. That’s why we encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with their favourite possessions, furniture and pictures.
Bedrooms in one of our houses are fitted with pre-programmable movement sensors. Our sensors can help assist service users who enjoy being independent but may welcome a little extra support.
For example, our movement sensors can detect when a resident visits the en-suite during the night, causing the light to automatically switch on and stay on until they return to bed. If a resident fails to return to bed within a set time, a personal alert will be sent to staff and a member of our team will attend the room to ensure that your loved one is safe and well.
